TALKING CCTV cameras will soon be coming to a town centre in Suffolk under new plans to combat anti-social behaviour, it emerged today.Home Secretary John Reid announced Ipswich is one of 20 areas in the country to receive money to adapt surveillance equipment.

Home Secretary John Reid announced Ipswich is one of 20 areas in the country to receive money to adapt surveillance equipment.
An existing scheme in Middlesbrough in the North East has been used to stop vandals and tell litterbugs to pick up their rubbish.
Andy Solomon, anti-social behaviour network manager with Ipswich Borough Council, said: “If it means people make a right choice instead of a wrong one and prevents them from getting a fine or a criminal record then it has to be a positive step.”
