A top satirist and fundraiser extraordinaire are among the latest names added to the squad of a charity cricket team visiting Suffolk at the end of July.
Saturist Andy Zaltzman, who has been a regular performer on Radio 4, will appear in the Lord’s Taverners team at Sudbury on Sunday, July 26.
Joining him will be Lloyd Scott MBE, who underwent life-saving surgery before starting out on a series of madcap fundraising escapades, including walking the London Marathon in an diver’s suit. Leading the cricketing side of the squad will be former England one-day international wicket-keeper Paul Nixon. Visit www.sudburycricket.com for more details.
