Two people charged with murder of Tavis Spencer-Aitkens appear in court

The men charged with murder of Tavis Spencer-Aitkens on June 2 have appeared at Ipswich Magistrates Court this morning.

A 16-year-old boy from Colchester and 22-year-old Aristote Yenge of no fixed abode from Ipswich appeared at the court via video link from Martlesham Police Headquarters.

They were told that the charges they face, that of murder, were too serious to be considered by the magistrates court and they would be instead be heard at Ipswich Crown Court.

The case was heard this afternoon.
