Team Captain Barrie Evans blasted to a full maximum too in a display of pure class as the Fen Tigers dominated proceedings.
It was not all plain sailing for the home side though as Weymouth put up a good show and pushed them all the way plus they had they had in form James Birkinshaw withdraw from the meeting after two rides due to illness.
Poole opened with a win in heat 2 but in his second ride could only finish at the back in his next outing but as the track improved so did he and he then produced 5 races from the back rarely seen at the West Row circuit forcing his way through from the back in stunning style showing controlled aggression and ability defying his relative inexperience.
These including beating riders of the calibre of James Cockle and Benji Compton in stunning style and he capped is evening off in fine style slicing through the opposition in fine style to join his skipper Evans for another maximum heat advantage in the final heat.
