A TEENAGER from north east Essex has been charged with drugs offences after being arrested during a series of raids at homes in Harwich.
The 18-year-old was one of four people held by officers after the raids at properties in Main Road, Parkeston Road and Colchester Road last Thursday.
The specialist operation also involved Trading Standards officers and took place after months spent gathering evidence about car crime and drug offences.
The teenager was questioned and later charged with three counts of supplying a class A drug. He was released on police bail and will appear at Colchester Magistrates' Court on March 12.
Three others arrested during the raids have been bailed until later this year.
