POLICE are continuing with their investigation into the rape of an 18-year-old girl.
The teenager was raped sometime between 3.30am and 3.55am on Thursday in Bury St Edmunds.
A public footpath, which leads from St Botolph's Lane past the Bury Rugby Club pitch, was cordoned off as scenes of crime officers hunted for clues following the attack.
The police today confirmed its investigation was ongoing and that it was still appealing for information about two men who are said to have been at Club Brazilia in the town before going to a party close to where the alleged attack took place.
Anyone with information about the incident should contact Det Insp Dave Giles at Bury CID on 01473 613500 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
