Teenage boy killed in road crash
A 15-YEAR-old boy was killed last night after his bicycle was in collision with a car in north Essex.Emergency services were called to the scene of the accident at about 7.30pm on the notorious Stonebridge Hill section of the A1124 between Earls Colne and Halstead.

Emergency services were called to the scene of the accident at about 7.30pm on the notorious Stonebridge Hill section of the A1124 between Earls Colne and Halstead. The male rider was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash.
Road policing officers from north Essex were dispatched to the scene, and the road was closed off while investigations took place.
A spokesman for Bocking Traffic Police said the A1124 at Stonebridge Hill was a known accident blackspot.

He said the accident had happened outside Parley Beams Farm just beyond the where the A1124 crosses Bourne Brook.
Police were last night speaking to witnesses who saw the crash unfold.
