A 17-year-old boy has reported being sexually assaulted as he walked in Lowestoft on Saturday afternoon.

The teenager was walking in the wooded area off Corton Road, at Corton beach, opposite Dip Farm, at around 1.15pm–1.30pm when he was approached by a man, believed to be in his late teens to early 20s, who engaged him in conversation.

He walked with the man, who soon after sexually touched him.

The victim ran away towards the road and golf course and flagged down a green car with a man, woman and young girl in. Police are asking them to come forward.

The suspect is described as white, of stocky build, around 5ft 9ins, with blond hair, wearing glasses, brown steel toe boots, a light blue fleece with a high visibility jacket.
