A 16-YEAR-OLD cyclist has died following a road accident, police said today.
A 16-YEAR-OLD cyclist has died in a road collision in Colchester.
The crash happened at around 7.15pm yesterday in Greenstead Road when the boy was in collision with a silver Mazda saloon car close to Tesco's supermarket.
The driver of the car was taken to Colchester General Hospital and treated for minor injuries. The boy, who has not yet been named, was pronounced dead at the scene.
A 28-year-old-man has been arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving.
