14-year-old girl arrested following slashing incident in Colchester

A 14-year-old girl has been arrested in connection with a slashing incident in Colchester town centre.

The incident took place in Lion Walk at around 5.15pm yesterday.

Officers from Essex Police attended the scene following reports that a 16-year-old girl suffered a slash injury to her nose.

The teenager girl arrested is currently in custody where she is being questioned by police.
