A TEENAGE girl was assaulted while she was on a paper round in Great Yarmouth.

A TEENAGE girl was assaulted while she was on a paper round in Great Yarmouth.

The 17-year-old was left shaken after the assault, which took place sometime between 4.15pm and 4.30pm yesterday, in Lichfield Road, in the town.

The teenager was stopped by a girl asking for a newspaper. When she refused she was kicked in the ankle and hit in the chest.

The offender was described as having shoulder length brown hair, which was tied back, and was wearing a black overcoat with a hood.

Officers are appealing for anyone who may have witnessed what happened. The offender is believed to have been with a group of youths.
