A TEENAGER accused of stabbing a man his 50s has had his case transferred to the crown court.
The 15-year-old, accompanied by his father in the dock at Bury St Edmunds Magistrates' Court today, faces charges of possession of an offensive weapon and wounding with intent following an incident in Bury St Edmunds on October 15.
During the incident in Beech Rise, the 57-year-old victim received a wound to the chest.
The youth, who is from the Cambridge area, will next appear at Ipswich Crown Court on March 6 for a preliminary hearing. He was released on unconditional bail.
