The incident occurred in Tentree Road at 11.35pm last night.
The East of England Ambulance Service NHS Trust (EEAST) send a rapid response vehicle and an ambulance to the scene.
He was taken to West Suffolk Hospital in Bury St Edmunds for treatment for a facial injury and chest pain.
His injuries were not believed to be life-threatening or serious.
