THREE teenagers were rescued by beach patrol staff at Frinton after getting into difficulties while using inflatables in the sea.
The 13-year-old girls were spotted struggling to reach the shore at 3.35pm today and a concerned member of the public alerted coastguards.
The Clacton inshore lifeboat was launched but beach patrol staff from Frinton reached the trio, who were all using rubber rings, before they arrived.
Thames Coastguards said none of the girls were injured in the incident.
