Ten-year-old boy has scooter stolen after assault in Clacton

Police in Essex are appealing for information after a ten-year-old boy was assaulted by two teenagers in Clacton who then ran off with his scooter.

The ten-year-old victim was at the skate park in Vista Road at around 7.30pm on Wednesday April 5 when he was approached by the two teenage boys, who are believed to be aged between 13 and 15 years old.

A spokesman from Essex police said the teenagers were reported to have pushed the young boy to the ground before kicking him and then punching him in the face.

The pair then made off with the victim’s scooter.

Anyone who witnessed the robbery or has any information that can assist police in their investigation is asked to contact Pc Reece Milwain at Clacton police station on 101.
