As the first quarter of the year comes to a close a survey has been conducted to assess workers job satisfaction.

A survey, which was carried out by Totaljobs, asked more than 4,500 people why they would leave their job.

Dissatisfaction with salary and a negative feeling towards company culture, are the top reasons why employees in East Anglia choose to leave their role. Other reasons include their relationship with their manager, the lack of challenge in the job and the meaningfulness of the job.

The study also looked at the aspects of work which make employees in our region stay. Having a flexible schedule at work was the top reason people remained at their employment.

This was then followed by feeling like they were trusted there, being proud to work there, feeling valued and being challenged.
