Thetford boasts one of the top 10 most photogenic forests in the UK, according to new data collected from the social media site Instagram.

Away Resorts, operator of six holiday resorts based in the UK, have analysed the Instagram hashtag use of 70 forests across the country and and used the data to create an interactive landing page with the top 25 Instagram-able forests.

Thetford Forest ranked the ninth most popular in the UK, with the hashtag #thetfordforest used 17,966 times.

Over the border, Epping Forest in Essex took fourth place with 53,215 hashtag uses, while nearby Hatfield Forest ranked 18th with 6,175 uses.
