Police are appealing for information after a number of people were hit by a mobility scooter in Thetford.

The incident happened at about 11.30am on Christmas Eve in the Grove Lane/ Norwich Road area.

The scooter rider was described as female with short white hair, between 60 and 70 years old, wearing a fawn-coloured overcoat and riding a red mobility scooter with a basket on the front.

Anyone with any information should contact Pc Jon Turner-Evans at Thetford Police Station on the non-emergency number, 101.
