Third man charged in connection with Essex modern slavery investigation

Adriatik Leshi, 42 of Key Road in Clacton was arrested in Sussex on March 26 and has since been charged with holding a person in slavery or servitude.

Leshi is due to appear at Chelmsford Crown Court on April 25.

Two other men were arrested and charged after Essexc police executed warrants at five addresses last month following concerns about the treatment of people working at a car wash in Wellesley Road.

A woman who was also arrested and released on bail has since been released under investigation.
