POLICE in Colchester have arrested three men after an attempted break-in at a jewellery shop in the town last night.The trio were arrested on suspicion of an attempted burglary at Goldsmith Jewellers in Shewell Walk in the Culver Square shopping area.
POLICE in Colchester have arrested three men after an attempted break-in at a jewellery shop in the town last night.
The trio were arrested on suspicion of an attempted burglary at Goldsmith Jewellers in Shewell Walk in the Culver Square shopping area.
The police were called at about 11.45pm and two 22-year-old men and a 24-year-old were arrested after a pursuit along the A12 and the A414.
After arriving on the scene, officers followed the men as far as Danbury, near Chelmsford, where they were stopped and taken into custody.
