THREE men will appear in court this morning charged with a robbery in Colchester.
The trio were arrested after an incident at Open All Hours in Ipswich Road on Sunday.
A 53-year-old shopkeeper suffered cuts to his head, arm and leg after the alleged incident at about 12.25pm.
His injuries were not serious.
An 18-year-old from Great Bromley, a 31-year-old of Colchester and a 49-year-old from Colchester were all charged with robbery and one count of conspiracy to commit robbery.
They will appear before magistrates in Colchester this morning.
