SUFFOLK: Firefighters tackled three blazes in Suffolk last night.
The first happened at around 5.50pm when a pile of car tyres and rubbish went up in flames in Chimswell Way, Haverhill.
It was put out within 15 minutes.
A 10sqm section of woodland then caught alight in Griffith close, Kessingland, at around 6.30pm. One crew tackled the blaze for around ten minutes.
While that was ongoing, a pile of railway sleepers caught alight in Commercial Road at 6.41pm. The blaze was extinguished just before 7pm.
