NORFOLK police's major investigation team has confirmed three people have been arrested this afternoon in connection with the death of Frank McGarahan.

NORFOLK police's major investigation team has confirmed three people have been arrested this afternoon in connection with the death of Frank McGarahan.

The three local males, in their early 20s, are currently in custody at police stations across Norfolk where they will be interviewed into this evening and tomorrow.

Mr McGarahan, 45, was spending a quiet evening out with family and friends ahead of a family christening in Norwich.

He witnessed an assault whilst queuing for a taxi on Guildhall Hill, after which he sustained a fatal injury.

Officers are still very keen to hear from anyone who may have witnessed the incident or has any information in relation to the incident.
