THREE motorists were injured today in a collision that blocked the A140 in Suffolk.The three-vehicle pile-up happened at around 1pm outside the garage at Brockford, near Eye.
THREE motorists were injured today in a collision that blocked the A140 in Suffolk.
The three-vehicle pile-up happened at around 1pm outside the garage at Brockford, near Eye.
Three fire crews, a road ambulance and an air ambulance went to the scene, while police set up diversions.
The accident involved a VW van, a silver Fiesta car and a grey Rover and left motorists in all three suffering from a mixture of chest pain, back and leg injuries.
The air ambulance was not required, but a man and a woman were taken to Ipswich Hospital by road ambulance.
Police said they hoped the road would be re-opened this afternoon.
