The road had been blocked close to Stowlangtoft.
Two vehicles have been involved in a road traffic collision on the A1088 close to the village of Stowlangtoft.
Suffolk Constabulary were called to the scene at around 4.40pm this afternoon.
A police spokesperson said that officers were currently attending the scene and that an ambulance had been called to the scene.
It had been reported that oil had been spilled on the road.
The vehicles are currently awaiting recovery.
