Two motorists are in hospital tonight after a two-vehicle crash involving a three-wheeled kit car in north Suffolk, police have said.
Emergency services were called to the scene of a collision involving a silver three-wheeled kit car and a parked Suzuki Grand Vitara in Common Lane, Beccles at around 8.25pm on Saturday night.
The kit car ended up on its roof after the crash, a Suffolk Constabulary spokesman said. Both motorists managed to free themselves from the vehicle.
Three fire engines were called to the scene and the motorists were treated by paramedics before being taken to hospital for precautionary measures.
There were no arrests and no police investigation into the collision, the force spokesman confirmed.
Police were still at the scene at 10.30pm. The kit car was due to be recovered shortly afterwards.
Kit cars are vehicles which are pieced together, usually from scratch by their owners in private garages.
