A WOMAN from near Bury St Edmunds has died after being admitted to hospital with suspected swine flu - two weeks after giving birth.
The 32-year-old, who has been named locally as Sarah Applin, died on Tuesday at the West Suffolk Hospital, after developing pneumonia.
Her son William had been delivered by caesarean section just before Christmas and is currently in the special care baby unit.
The BBC reported her family have urged vulnerable people to have the flu vaccination.
