It is set to be a wet and windy day turning cold tonight, but there are no longer weather warnings in place.

According to the Met Office, most areas will start off cloudy and dry before a spell of rain crosses from the west, with some heavy bursts.

This will clear to sunny spells and showers during the afternoon, with the heaviest rain across Norfolk, and there will be strong gusts of wind.

There will be a maximum temperature of 13C.

Looking forward to tonight, showers will die out, with some long clear spells for most areas. Northwesterly winds will remain brisk near coasts.

It will turn cold in many parts, with possible fog and grass frost.

There will be a minimum temperature 4C.

Met Office ‘yellow’ weather warnings for wind and rain are no longer in place.
