Tollesbury: Witness appeal after 25-year-old man dies in car crash

Police are appealing for witnesses following a fatal road crash in Tollesbury.

Emergency services were called to Woodrolfe Road at 12.45am after a silver Audi A3 car collided with a tree.

One occupant of the car, a 25-year-old man from the Tollesbury area, was certified dead at the scene of the incident, and the second occupant, an 18-year-old man from Colchester, was taken to Broomfield Hospital for treatment to leg injuries.

No other vehicles were believed to have been involved in the crash.
