MOTORISTS faced delays in Ipswich this afternoon after two crashes in the town.

An 83-year-old man was treated by paramedics in Woodbridge Road East for minor injuries after his car was involved in a shunt at 1.48pm.

The accident happened just outside the Shell refilling station but nobody required hospital treatment.

In the second incident an elderly woman was treated for shock after her vehicle was involved in a crash at the junction of Cavendish and Bishops Hill at 3.59pm.
