DELIA Smith used her recipe for success at Norwich City and now fellow celebrity cook Jamie Oliver has been spotted in the kitchens at Ipswich Town.

But the Naked Chef is not planning a Delia-style investment in the Blues and has not joined the Portman Road catering staff – he was filming an advert for Sainsbury's.

Oliver spent most of Tuesdaybeing trailed by a camera crew in the stadium's kitchens for the advert, which will promote the supermarket's sausages.

A spokesman for Ipswich Town said: "We were approached by Sainsbury's and asked if we would provide a location for them to film an advert and we offered them the use of one of our commercial kitchens.

"But it won't be obvious from the advert that the kitchen is at Ipswich Town – it was purely and simply used as a location."

Oliver, who grew up in Clavering, near Saffron Walden, is no stranger to the Ipswich area – he gave a loan to his friend, Jimmy Doherty, to start a pig farm in Wherstead, which is the subject of BBC2 show Jimmy's Farm.
