A woman has been taken to hospital after a crash which closed part of the A14 earlier this morning.
Emergency services were called to the crash just after 5.30am this morning, but the road has since reopened.
An East of England Ambulance Service spokesman said: βAn ambulance and senior paramedic in a support vehicle attended a road traffic collision on the A14 near Claydon just before 6am today.
"An adult woman was transported to Ipswich Hospital for further assessment and treatment.β
Officers from Suffolk police were called to the crash in the westbound carriageway near Claydon just after 5.35am this morning.
Speaking just after the crash, a spokesman for the force said: "Officers are currently on scene of the crash.
"There is definitely one car involved in the crash but there have been reports of a second car β this is unconfirmed at this stage."
