COMMUTERS faced delays on trains between Clacton and London this morning after a points failure.
The problem was resolved within an hour-and-a-half and the backlog meant some travellers were kept waiting for up to 40 minutes.
A spokesman for Network Rail said engineers had been sent to correct the problem which was reported at 6am and fixed by 7.28am.
National Express East Anglia apologised to its customers for the delay.
