There are delays on the A14 eastbound after a lady was taken ill.
The hold up is between J40 for Higham and J41 for Risby.
The female driver of a car travelling on the road stopped in one lane of the carriageway just before 1pm when she started to feel unwell.
Police were alerted and an ambulance summoned. The road was closed while emergency services dealt with the incident.
The lady was taken to the West Suffolk Hospital by ambulance and the road was reopened shortly after 1.30.
