COMMUTERS travelling on the rail network this morning are facing delays because of a broken down train and over-running engineering work.
Rail operator Greater Anglia has warned customers services between Witham and Braintree may be cancelled at short notice.
A broken down train on the line is causing the delays.
Services between Ipswich and Cambridge are also being delayed. Currently trains are being delayed by about 75 minutes because of the over-running maintenance work.
Suffolk and Essex police forces have reported no major crashes on the region’s roads.
