Travel update: Motorists facing minor delays following morning incidents in Suffolk and Essex

MOTORISTS in Ipswich may face minor delays this morning after a tree fell on to a road in the town.

Police were informed about the incident, in Constitution Hil, at about 6.30am today.

The tree blocked one half of the road and caused minor delays. A tree surgeon was called to remove the tree but it is thought there could still be a backlog of traffic.

In Essex, residents travelling through Elmstead market are being delayed this morning after an accident which involved three vehicles.

The incident happened on the A133 and the road is partially blocked between the Oatlands Junction and the Church Road junction.

Rail commuters should enjoy a stress-free journey to work this morning with Greater Anglia reporting a good service.
