The trial of a man accused of committing a burglary in Colchester will take place in June.
Before Ipswich Crown Court for a plea and trial preparation hearing on Tuesday (February 11) was 32-year-old Thomas Addison, of no fixed address.
He faces five charges of burglary at a property in Honywood Road, Colchester, on December 6 last year, damaging pots, windows and front door of his father's neighbours' property and assaulting three police officers.
Addison, who was not legally represented, declined to enter pleas to the charges and Judge Emma Peters entered not guilty pleas on his behalf.
Addison's trial, which is expected to last five days, will take place on June 1 and he was remanded in custody.
