FIREFIGHTERS rescued a deer after the animal became stuck in fencing.

The muntjac got its head wedged in the fence at Trimley St Mary’s Church, in High Road, Trimley, yesterday.

An onlooker said: “The firefighters were utterly brilliant and released the little chap with hardly any bother at all.

“He immediately leapt away and dashed off to find his pals.”
