POLICE have arrested three people on suspicion of arson following an investigation into a series of on the heath at Rushmere St Andrew.
POLICE have arrested three people on suspicion of arson following an investigation into a series of on the heath at Rushmere St Andrew.
Three arrests were made yesterday in relation to the fires which were thought to have been started deliberately on Friday night.
Fire crews from Princes Street and Colchester Road attended the first blaze on the heath at 7.35pm and remained there for another couple of hours putting out small fires.
The three suspects have been interviewed and released on bail until an unconfirmed date.
