TROOPS serving in Iraq are able to "dial the Queen" and listen to her Christmas Broadcast on their mobile phones.The royal phone line, set up for the first time, is also available to members of the public by dialing 0871 271 3100.

The royal phone line, set up for the first time, is also available to members of the public by dialing 0871 271 3100.

Calls are charged at the normal rate plus 10p a minute to cover the cost of providing the facility.

The Queen's message was screened on TV and aired on radio at 3pm today, when telephone lines were opened until 3pm on Tuesday January 6.
