Youngsters and parents at Capel Twins & Multiples Club are celebrating after being awarded £1,000 from Tesco Bags of Help scheme.

The donation was officially presented by Mandy Lloyd, Tesco Ipswich Extra’s community champion.

The club meets weekly at Capel Community Church, where parents and carers of pre-school age multiples can meet up while their little ones play.

It has used the money to buy toys and equipment including a twin slide tunnel climber, three Scuttlebug outdoor toys and other ride-on toys for younger children to use outside. It is also paying towards new shelving and storage.

Mum Fiona Farrell, who co-runs the club, said: ”We are very grateful to Tesco Ipswich Extra for this award. The new toys and play equipment will benefit not only our club, but also the church itself and other groups who run from this same venue. It’s super to have some new toys for everyone to enjoy.”
