Two people have been arrested after a 45-year-old woman was attacked and robbed by four youths who flagged down her car.

Two people have been arrested after a 45-year-old woman was attacked and robbed by four youths who flagged down her car.

A 17-year-old boy and a 22-year-old man were arrested in Gorleston this afternoon as police inquiries continue.

The woman was left shaken and needed hospital treatment following the incident at Corton on the A12 at the Rackhams Corner roundabout at around 5am this morning. She is now recovering at home after being taken to the James Paget Hospital where she received treatment for an injury to her ear.

The two males are currently in custody at Lowestoft police station where they will be interviewed.

Suffolk police spokesman Anne-Marie Breach said that numerous inquiries were ongoing to locate all those involved.
