TWO men have been arrested after a 47-year-old man was found unconscious in a Suffolk town centre.The victim was found at about 4am on Saturday at the car park opposite Ipswich Town FC at Portman Road.
TWO men have been arrested after a 47-year-old man was found unconscious in a Suffolk town centre.
The victim was found at about 4am on Saturday at the car park opposite Ipswich Town FC at Portman Road.
He was initially taken to Ipswich Hospital but was last night transferred to Addenbrookes Hospital in Cambridge where he is described as being in a serious condition.
A 22-year-old man and an 18-year-old man have been arrested in connection with this incident and are being questioned by detectives.
Police are continuing to appeal for information and want to hear from anyone in the Portman Road and Princes Street areas between 1.30am and 4am on Saturday and saw anything suspicious to get in touch. Anyone with information is asked to call Ipswich CID on 01473 613500.
