TWO people are being quizzed by detectives in Colchester after being arrested on suspicion of murder.
The pair were arrested at about 10.30am today by officers investigating the death of a man whose body was found at a flat in the town in the early hours of this morning.
A police spokesman said: “Following the discovery of a man's body at a flat in Military Road, Colchester, at around 2am this morning two people have now been arrested.
“Police arrested the two people on suspicion of murder at premises in the Old Heath area of the town at around 10.30am.
“The 34-year-old man, of no fixed address, and 33-year-old woman, from Colchester, will be questioned by detectives throughout the day.”
A post mortem examination is due to take place tomorrow to establish the cause of death of the man, who was found with multiple injuries.
