TWO people from Colchester have been arrested today over an incident in which a man was left with serious head and leg injuries.

The victim was taken to hospital after emergency services had been called to Tufnell Way in the town at around 5.10am today.
The identity of the injured man is not known, but he is believed to be between 35 to 45 years old.
A 41-year-old man and a 39-year-old woman, both from Colchester, have been arrested on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm.
A house in Tufnell Way has been secured for forensic examination and officers will be conducting door-to-door enquiries.
Detectives are appealing for anyone who was in the area between 10pm yesterday and 5am today and who might have seen or heard any unusual or suspicious activity to contact them at Colchester police station on 0300 333 4444 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
