The collision happened in Brampton between an Eastern Counties bus and a car at the junction of the A145 London Road and Station Road at around 4.30pm.

Two people were treated at the scene, but the extent of their injuries was not known.

A spokesman for the East of England Ambulance Service said no-one was trapped inside the vehicles.

The East Anglian Air Ambulance was initially mobilised, but then stood down after the emergency services reached the crash site.
