TWO people were taken to hospital after a motorbike was in collision with a car in Ipswich.

The crash involving a red Vauxhall Astra and motorbike happened at about 6.20pm on Saturday on the roundabout between Nacton Road and Ransomes Way.

Suffolk Police and a crew from the East of England Ambulance Trust attended the scene where they found both the motorbike rider and their passenger injured.

A 36-year-old woman suffering from a hip injury was taken to Ipswich Hospital along with a man who had foot injury.
