TWO men were taken to hospital, one of them with serious injuries, are being viciously stabbed in a night-time attack.
The incident happened in St Helen's Street, Ipswich, at about 3.15am yesterday after the two men refused to give another two men a lift home.
One man suffered stab wounds to his shoulder, back and body, and the other to his arm.

Suffolk police are urging any witness to the serious assault, or anyone with any information about the attack, to come forward and contact officers.
People living in the area said they were shocked by the violent incident and say the worst crime in the area is normally windows being smashed or fast food thrown in their gardens.

St Helen's Street resident Janine Batchelor said she usually felt very safe living in the area and was surprised to hear of the stabbing.
Sally Koral, from St Helen's Street, said: "I was woken up by some shouting and wondered what was going on.
"This is quite worrying, it's normally quite quiet round here and the worst problem we get is kebabs chucked in our garden. It's incredible this should happen, especially at this time of year.''
Ron Sutton, who also lives in the street, said: "I was asleep upstairs at the time and heard nothing. You get windows going here, but not this.''
A spokeswoman for the force said: "Ipswich police are appealing for information after a serious assault on two men at around 3.15am on Sunday, in St Helen's Street in Ipswich.
"While returning home, two men were approached by another two males who asked for a lift home, which was refused.
"An altercation took place between them and one of the men was stabbed in the arm, one man in the shoulder, back and body.
"The two offenders ran off, one in to Jefferies Road, one along St Helen's Street. Both victims needed to be seen at Ipswich Hospital, one had treatment for serious injuries.
"Police want to hear from anyone in the St Helen's Street area of Ipswich around the time of the incident, between Palmerston Road and Dove Street.''
The two offenders are described as white, in their early 20s with a medium build, around six feet tall and both were wearing hooded tops.
