The incident happened just after 7.40pm today, on the eastbound carriageway between Copdock and Sproughton
Police attended the scene and it is not believed anyone was seriously hurt.
One lorry required removal from the carriageway, blocking in the inside lane until just after 9am today.
Motorists should expect residual delays, with queues as far back as the A140 junction near Needham Market.
