Two men arrested after cricket club assault

Police arrested two men today on suspicion of an assault which left an 18-year-old with a fractured cheekbone.

The incident happened at Frinton Cricket Club, Ashlyns Road, at 10.30pm on Friday, August 6, when the 18-year-old from Clacton was assaulted.

Two 20-year-old men, one from Kirby Cross and the other from Kirby-le-Soken, were arrested and released on police bail pending further enquiries until September 19.
